Forget the other activities, if you just want to fish, fish and fish, then these packages are for you!

Choose from packages that offer 2 or 3 full days of guided fishing. Don't worry about the best times of the day and what the tides are doing because you will be on the water fishing during all the bite periods each day. You will depart the marina docks at daybreak each morning and have the gear fishing about 15 minutes later (limited to 3 persons per boat).

These packages offer you a choice of the best local accommodations available and include fully self contained 2 bedroom waterfront cabins, executive waterfront vacation homes and local waterfront B&B's. With these package options you can choose to bring your food with you and prepare meals yourself, or dine in any of the finer local restaurants located nearby.

For a reasonable cost we can even arrange for a gourmet chef to come in and prepare your meals for you.
Accommodations will vary with availability and may result in slightly higher or lower package prices from those listed.

CANCELLATION POLICY - deposits will be credited in full to alternate (same season or next season) dates with a minimum 30 days notice of cancellation. Credits can not be applied for dates lost without the 30 days cancellation notice. All deposits are non-refundable.

When you book a Sooke Harbour House fishing package you will stay and dine at one of the finest and best known inns in the world. During your stay you will enjoy the panoramic views of Juan De Fuca Strait and the Olympic Mountains while relaxing in your waterfront room. Every room has its own unique decorating theme and all the rooms features a cozy fireplace and either a Jacuzzi or hot tub on the outdoor patio or in the room itself.

Your stay at the world famous Sooke Harbour House Hotel will include all breakfasts and gourmet dinners. Those of you getting up early to fish will take a continental breakfast with you on the fishing trip.  If you're sleeping in, there is a full breakfast for you to enjoy in your room.

During the off season as daybreak comes later in the morning, everyone can choose to have breakfast served in their room . All the Sooke Harbour House fishing packages listed below include 4-course gourmet dinners and on an evening of your choice, a multi course surprise gastronomic adventure. The gastronomic adventure is a tasting menu chosen daily by the hotel's chefs and features the very best of the sea, the on-site gardens and local farmers.

We also encourage you to seek out the hotel's head chef and have him and the kitchen staff prepare a portion of your fresh salmon catch during your stay. Your freshly caught ocean bright salmon, the freshly grown herbs, the local organic produce combines with the talents of kitchen staff make for an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind dining experience.

For the more adventurous the kitchen staff will also create delicate and tasty appetizers made from salmon liver and salmon eggs collected from your catch. Our crab traps that are baited in the harbour may also produce another local delicacy for your fresh seafood dinner. Dungeness crab are plentiful around Sooke and if our traps are successful they will add a special treat to an already wonderful seafood dinner.

Purchasing a bottle of wine from the hotel's award winning wine list will complement your meal and complete your evening's dining experience.

FISHING - GOURMET FOOD - FINE WINE and ROMANCE (Packages For Couples)

These packages are designed for couples who want to travel together to Vancouver Island and yet, once here, have some options and flexibility as to how they spend their time together.

Options which can include everyone fishing together the entire trip, the guys and gals fishing together some of the time or the gals going their own way and not fishing at all. These options are possible because there are so many other non-fishing activities close at hand.

Sooke is only 45 minutes from Victoria so the ladies may choose to fish one day and then drive to Victoria to spend a day shopping, visit world famous Butchart Gardens or have a massage and then take in high tea at the Fairmont Empress while the guys fish.

Or the ladies may choose to sleep in, take a Sooke based 3 hour whale watching tour in the late morning and then hook up again with the guys for lunch.

The possibilities are endless and limited only by ones imagination. Our goals for these couple packages are that everyone have a great time while they pursue activities they've always enjoyed and to also have a wonderful experience trying something new and different.. PLEASE NOTE - a one day fishing, and one night hotel room deposit is required at time of booking for all Sooke Harbour House packages.

CANCELLATION POLICY (Sooke Harbour House Packages Only) - a $50.00 hotel room cancellation fee will be charged with 7 days or more notice of cancellation, the one day fishing portion of your deposit is non-refundable but may be credited in full to same or next year dates, with 14 days or more notice of cancellation. If 14 days notice of cancellation is not given you will be responsible for payment of the entire package in full, unless it can be re-booked.

Packages are also available by request for larger groups of couples or singles. Accommodations for larger numbers include local executive waterfront vacation homes that offer privacy and comfort for up to 4 couples, up to 28 rooms at the Sooke Harbour House Hotel or choose from any of the luxury hotels located in downtown Victoria. We will be happy to put together a fishing package that meets your groups specific needs. We allow a maximum of 4 fishers per boat for larger group charters.
